For many years in the 1980s and 1990s, I had a poster of Dick Williams climbing Shockley's Ceiling in the nude on my wall. Little did I know that years later, I'd get the opportunity to climb with him. We spent the day in the Near Trapps, and did some wonderful established routes, as well as some new climbs that Dick did the first ascents of during this past summer.
