Potrero Chico, Mexico - The Crags

There aren't very many climbs on the impressive front range of Potrero Chico. El Toro has a handful of very long, hard and loose climbs. Most people climb inside the canyons. Most popular for us moderate climbers was The Mota Wall, The Jungle Wall, Super Mini, and Virgin Wall. All of these walls are easily accessible and had a number of routes in the 5.8-5.10 range. Most of them are 1 pitch routes with one or two multi-pitch routes on them. Because of the amount of loose rock, it is somewhat hazardous to be climbing under the multi-pitch routes when there is a party climbing them. Helmets are a must.

Credit goes to Tami's guidebook for some of the descriptions of the crags I used.
