Hard to believe just outside of Las Vegas is the gorgeous natural landscape. Red Rocks Conservation area boasts numerous sport crags and epic multi-pitch trad routes. My first trip there was in 2011, where I only got to sample the sport routes for 3 days before my back went out and I wasn’t able to get on any trad routes. But I have returned multiple times since then to enjoy the warm late winter/early spring weather, endless climbs and fantastic rock.
